Trappin + Trappin Redux

Was given a word at random (mine being "trap"). Decided to turn "trap" into the slang term "trappin" and took it down an 80's "Miami Vice" inspired theme.

Later, I decided to remake the piece from scratch but in a different theme, that being the "Wild West." I thought that the rough, gritty, and crude nature of the American frontier contrasted well with the glitz, glam, and neon of the 1980's. Where drug lords were rolling around South Beach in Ferraris; gangs in the old west were roaming around on horseback. Trade the Uzis for Colt revolvers and the drug deals for stage coach robberies.

One of my favorite pieces, I combined two of my favorite influences/themes (the 80's and the Old West) and I think it came out nicely. Hope you enjoy.
